I drew out a few thumbnails sketching a range of ideas i had for my logo design.

Research

Corporate identity

I started off by research at a range of corporate identity; looking at the thought and visual ideas behind the logo, and how they carry out their theme throughout their advertising.

City Logos

Next i looked at city logos and how they relate to the city they represent. My two favourite designs were Melbourne logo having the geometric shapes and monotone colour scheme, and Vancouver's logo because of it crisp simplicity.

General

i researched Doha in general looking at the the city's beaches and skyline.

Attractions

I then looked more closely into specific attractions in Doha that i could potentially incorporate into my logo.

Islamic Designs

Doha is made up of islamic culture so i wanted to look at islamic symbols and there alphabet.
